Alex currently works for Proxim IT creating next generation web interfaces for a variety of online collaborative tools utilising the lastest cutting edge JavaScript/AJAX technologies.
Love For Rent : Technical Director

At Love For Rent, Alex worked closely with a designer on a range projects, including websites, interactive CD-ROMs and back end systems. He also administers a Linux server with web and email services for over fifty domains.

Alex also created small scale bespoke content management systems for several of the above websites, including a CRM system for obtaining client feedback for CityCall and an asset tracking system for Trichocare which allows them to keep multiple revisions of promotional artwork organised.
Alex produced supporting page elements for the following websites:
- BBC Creative Archive - The Flash masthead was produced working to graphics provided by Intro.
- Dickson Insurance - Alex created the Flash animation in the page header.
- British Council - Zero Carbon City - Again working with storyboards supplied by Intro, Alex produced a series of cartoon style Flash animations
Freelance work
2002 - Present
Alex has also created several websites on a freelance basis, including the Japanese shopping site Me Cup Of Tea and a previous iteration of the Whitfield Street Studios (formerly Sony Music Recording Studios) website. He also helped design agency System Gafa promote their Farringdon bar, Hat On Wall via a long running HTML email campagin.
Sonic360 : Internet Manager

While at Sonic360, Alex worked with the design agency DED Associates on a up ground up re-write of the website. DED provided Photoshop mock ups of several sections of the website and Alex filled in the rest. He's especially proud of the Sushi Bar and the media player.
Alex also worked on several promotional campaigns producing supporting online materials for album launches, HTML mail shots for a mailing list with some 20,000 subscribers and several mini-sites. The current state of the website is close to how it was at the time of his leaving, however it is currently maintained by someone else.
Disorder Magazine : Tech & Web

Alex established the magazine's initial web presence and shepherded it through several iterations from it's inception as a purely Flash based site, through to a content focused text based version. He also sourced, created and maintained the office network of computers. Highlights of the website included a custom built forum with a Flash/PHP tool for creating your own custom avatars. The current website is not a reflection of his work from the time.
Alma Home : Systems Administrator
2001
Alex instigated an upgrade from various versions of Windows to a standard platform of Windows XP in a domain supported by an on site server running Windows 2000 Server Small Business Edition. He also worked with external suppliers on an installation of Sage Line 200 and provided general support for network users.
